We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
* Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
* Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
* Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
* Escort patients to exam rooms, perform vitals, review and update medication list
* Assisting with medical procedures, giving injections, calling patients with test results
* Knowledge of medication and ability to fill prescription
* Referrals
* Prior Authorization
* Medical Scribing for providers
* Front Desk duties, answer phones, make appointments
* Scribing for Providers
Qualifications:
* Certified Medical Assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience
* Bilingual Preferred
* Familiarity with medical billing procedures
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to multi task
* Experience with Electronic Medical Records
* Ability to scribe for physician
* Experience giving Injections, assisting with medical procedures and giving test results to patient
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
