Qualifications
- Current certification as a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Active licensure required for school‑based SLPs in California
- Experience working with high school students strongly preferred
- Solid knowledge of evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment practices
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for high school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with each student’s unique needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations to support student success
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress tracking compliant with school policies and state/federal regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to create supportive and inclusive learning environments
- Offer guidance and resources to families and staff regarding speech and language development
