To ensure coding accuracy and compliance, the full-time Certified IRC Coder will maintain standards for charge capture and monitor unposted charge logs while working remotely during daytime hours from Monday to Friday. Key responsibilities Maintains established standards for coding and charge capture accuracy Monitors unposted charge logs for timely charge posting and ensures accurate assignment of CPT codes Acts as a liaison between clinical areas and coding operations to achieve revenue integrity Required qualifications Completion of an AHIMA or AAPC-approved coding or health information technology program 4 years of recent coding or auditing experience in an acute care hospital Certification: Obtain CIRCC within the first six months of employment
