Certified Inpatient Coding Team Lead

Providing day-to-day supervision and instruction for coders, the full-time Certified Inpatient Coding Team Lead will oversee hospital inpatient accounts to ensure appropriate reimbursement and compliance with federal and state regulations while working remotely. Key responsibilities Supervise and manage the daily activities of coders, including monitoring productivity and scheduling Assign and oversee coding work to facilitate timely billing processes and maintain appropriate coverage Act as a clinical coding subject matter expert, resolving inquiries and ensuring compliance with coding standards Required qualifications Associate's degree or a total of 7 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience coding inpatient hospital medical records Certification as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), or Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) is required
