Position: Certified Hand Therapist/Occupational Therapist

Location: Havre de Grace, MD

Schedule: Full-time, 32 hours

Compensation: $90,000 - $105,000 annually, based on years of experience

Incentives: $5,000 Bonus PLUS Student Loan Repayment Assistance

NovaCare Rehabilitation in Havre de Grace, Maryland, is seeking a full-time Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) / Occupational Therapist to treat various upper extremity disorders, including tendon injuries, sprains, strains, post-operative fractures, and more. We are seeking a skilled hand therapist experienced in custom splinting. The Certified Hand Therapist will collaborate with our regional hand therapy coordinator to ensure you have the resources you need to succeed.

Responsibilities

  Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.

  n

  Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs.

  n
n
• n

  Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.

• n

  Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).

Qualifications

n
• n

  Graduate of an accredited school for occupational or physical therapy

  n
n
• n

  Hold specialty certification or licensure in hand therapy

  n
n
• n

  National registration and state licensure or registration required

  n
n
• n

  Previous,demonstrated marketing experience

  n
n
• n

  Solid experience in application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic

  n
n
• n

  CPR certification

  n
n
• n

  Valid state driver's license

  n
n
