We are seeking an experienced Certified Financial Planner to join our team in the greater Elmira, NY area. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to high net-worth clients, delivering comprehensive financial planning and wealth management solutions while building long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary financial manager and advisor for high net-worth clients.
• Administer comprehensive financial management services on an ongoing basis.
• Prepare customized financial analyses, including cash flow analysis, statements of financial condition, insurance evaluations, retirement planning, survivorship analysis, and estate planning reviews.
• Prepare and review personal income tax returns and develop tax planning strategies.
• Provide guidance on employee benefits, stock options, real estate decisions, business and career planning, education funding, gifting strategies, insurance, and other client-specific financial needs.
• Develop and implement financial plans aligned with clients’ goals and objectives.
• Counsel clients regarding financial objectives, portfolio structure, and investment performance.
• Participate in business development initiatives, including prospect identification, relationship management, and client acquisition activities.
• Conduct meetings with prospective clients to communicate the firm’s value proposition and support growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Certified Financial Planner designation required.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 4+ years of experience working as a Certified Financial Planner/Financial Advisor/ Wealth Advisor.
• Experience serving as the primary advisor for clients.
• Demonstrated business development experience and ability to grow a book of business.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven self-starter with strong motivation and initiative.
• Passion for delivering exceptional client service.
