Auditing inpatient cases for DRG validation, the full-time Certified DRG Auditor will review medical records using proprietary software and client EMR systems while providing recommendations and supporting evidence, all in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Review inpatient medical records for validation of DRG assignment Provide detailed rationale and supporting evidence for audit findings Utilize industry-recognized references to support review findings Required qualifications Current AHIMA credentials of RHIA, RHIT, and/or CCS 3+ years of ICD-10 auditing and DRG reimbursement experience Recent acute inpatient auditing experience
