To support surgical specialties, the full-time remote Certified Coding Specialist - WA will perform chart analysis, abstract various medical codes, and resolve coding issues to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement. Key responsibilities Perform chart analysis and abstract CPT, HCPCS, and ICD codes for surgical specialties Review and resolve coding issues in Epic, ensuring accuracy of diagnosis and procedure codes Consult with physicians to verify services rendered and provide feedback on coding and documentation Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Certification as a RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CIC, COC, CIRCC, RCC, or ROCC Three years of coding experience or equivalent education/experience
