To enhance coding education, the remote Certified Coding Education Trainer will prepare curricula, design assessments, and provide training resources for healthcare coding in both provider-based and hospital-based settings. Key responsibilities Develop and implement training programs, including onboarding and audit-based training Create course materials and evaluate participant progress in coding education Serve as a resource for coding-related inquiries and support ad hoc training requests Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field preferred Certification in one or more coding areas such as CPC, COC, or RHIA required Three years of healthcare and/or outpatient-based coding experience required Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required Knowledge of hospital billing practices and CMS regulations preferred
