Certified Coding Education Specialist

To enhance coding quality and education initiatives, the full-time Coding Education Specialist will assist in the design, development, and delivery of coding training and communication strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams remotely. Key responsibilities: Assist in developing strategic coding communication and education plans tailored to target audiences and training needs Create and deliver training materials, presentations, and conduct sessions on current billing and coding practices Manage the maintenance of coding training materials and respond to coding inquiries while performing random chart audits Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Coding Specialist - Physician (CCS-P), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential Three years of experience in E/M and/or surgical coding and reimbursement activities Clinical background and previous chart abstraction experience preferred Strong knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT coding conventions
