Certified Coding Auditor Trainer

To enhance the effectiveness of the Clinical Chart Validation team, the full-time Certified Coding Auditor Trainer will develop and deliver technical training, mentor team members, and assess training needs for Outpatient and Specialty Clinical & Coding Validation Audits. Key responsibilities Develop and implement technical training plans and materials, collaborating with subject matter experts Deliver training sessions using various methods, including classroom and online formats, while mentoring new team members Assess and improve audit processes through quality assurance controls and feedback on audit performance Required qualifications Associates Degree or equivalent relevant experience; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Coding certification (CCS, CPC, etc.) is required and must be maintained 5 to 7+ years of experience in medical claims, billing/payment systems, and coding terminology Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders Proficiency with audit technology and applications such as Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
