Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Coding Associate 2 will manage the coding and abstracting of ancillary and outpatient records, including ambulatory surgery and emergency room documentation, while utilizing standardized coding systems. Key responsibilities Code and abstract ancillary and outpatient records to ensure accurate data collection and verification Assist authorized users in providing aggregate data for educational, statistical, managerial, and performance improvement activities Utilize E/M coding experience to assign appropriate codes based on documentation Required qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience in ancillary/outpatient coding, including CPT coding Certified Coding Associate (CCA) or equivalent certification required
