Certified Coder I

Leading a billing team to ensure accurate reimbursement for providers' claims, the full-time Certified Coder I will perform coding and documentation review while working remotely from Beachwood, OH. Key responsibilities Conduct initial charge reviews to assign appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes for physician services Analyze provider documentation to ensure accurate Evaluation & Management levels and compliance with guidelines Monitor billing processes and maintain knowledge of coding regulations to ensure compliance and high productivity standards Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Certified professional coder through AAPC with a minimum of two years' experience preferred Experience with Urology, Behavioral Health, FQHCs, and Hospital Surgical coding highly desired Knowledge of health information management protocols and confidentiality standards Proficiency in health information management systems, billing software, and Microsoft Office
