To support a growing revenue cycle management team, the full-time Certified Coder (CPC) will perform professional coding services, ensuring accurate coding according to AMA and CMS guidelines while working remotely from TX, NC, SC, or FL. Key responsibilities Review and audit charge encounters for correct coding across multiple facilities and systems Analyze medical records to identify documentation deficiencies and ensure compliance with payer policies Provide customer service and support to resolve coding-related inquiries and improve reimbursement processes Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 3+ years of progressive experience in medical coding/reimbursement Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems Experience with AdvancedMD or NextGen databases is highly desired Familiarity with insurance billing guidelines and processes for resolving denied claims
