Job Description

As a Medical Assistant working closely with physicians, you will assess patient needs through history, observation, and analysis of diagnostic data. You will perform direct patient care, prepare patients for examinations, and conduct specialized tests and procedures. Your role involves administering medications, providing patient education, scheduling appointments, and handling telephone consultations. You will ensure clean and well‑equipped examination rooms, manage medical supplies, and contribute to departmental quality assurance projects. Essential Functions

The Medical Assistant will support physicians by performing patient assessments, administering medications, coordinating patient education, and maintaining a safe, organized clinical environment.

Required Education / Experience

• High School Diploma / GED equivalent from an accredited school.
• At least one year of experience in a physician’s office or other clinical setting.
• Must be Registered or State Certified as a Medical Assistant with an accrediting board.
