CEI Inspector (Construction Engineering & Inspection)ProSidian seeks a CEI Inspector (Construction Engineering & Inspection) for program support on a contract located CONUS - Pasco County across the South East Region supporting Pasco County in enhancing performance, resilience, and sustainability of its water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems through comprehensive engineering, planning, environmental, and digital transformation services.This is a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Construction Oversight & Regulatory Field Inspection Functional Area Professional - Water, Wastewater, and Reclaimed Water Treatment & Storage Systems Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time ProSidian employed W-2 position.Provide services and support as a Water, Wastewater, and Reclaimed Water Treatment & Storage Systems (CEI Inspector (Construction Engineering & Inspection)) in the Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Pasco County Board of County Commissioners (PCBOCC) | Pasco County and across the South East Region.Perform on-site inspections for utility, water, wastewater, and reclaimed water infrastructure construction projects; ensure construction practices align with sustainability standards, safety codes, and approved project specifications; document progress, manage field reports, and support CEI services through project lifecycle phases.QualificationsDesired qualifications for CEI Inspector (Construction Engineering & Inspection) candidates:High school diploma required; AA/AS in engineering or related technical field preferred.FDOT CEI certification and OSHA 30-hour preferred.Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications:5+ years CEI experience, especially within water infrastructure or energy-efficiency projects.Skills required:Construction QA/QC, field documentation, civil standards, materials testing protocols, and digital tools (e.g. tablets, GIS).Competencies required:Field awareness, compliance monitoring, communication, situational adaptability, safety focus.Ancillary details of the roles:Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure regulatory and permit compliance during construction.Contribute to environmental performance verification related to construction activity footprints.Other details:Primarily field-based; requires physical activity, safety PPE, and potential rotating schedules.
