Ceded Reinsurance AVP

Managing ceded reinsurance programs, the full-time AVP, Ceded Reinsurance will coordinate activities with stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide accurate reporting while fostering relationships with brokers and internal teams. Key responsibilities Support the management of ceded reinsurance programs through effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Maintain a comprehensive understanding of ceded reinsurance arrangements, including policy terms and claims processes Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide timely reports on ceded reinsurance activities Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience preferred 5 to 10 years of experience in ceded reinsurance operations, preferably within property and casualty insurance Strong knowledge of reinsurance concepts, including treaty and facultative reinsurance Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint Professional designation such as CPCU, ARM, or ARe preferred, but not required
