This position is compensated on a bi-weekly pay cycle.

LOCATION:

This is a PART-TIME position located in CANON CITY, CO. This posting will be used to fill future vacancies at this location.

This PART-TIME position provides routine and emergency dental care, assessment, diagnosis and treatment to offenders incarcerated in the Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC). This position is responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Provide professional diagnosis and treatment of oral pathology for offendersin both routine and emergency settings;


• Provide dental care that includes, but is not limited to, diagnostic, preventive, restorative, periodontal, endodontal, oral surgery, and prosthetic services;


• Applyagency and professional treatment standards to develop individual patient treatment plans;


• Diagnose and treat dental disease of offenders or refer offenders to specialist for treatment;


• This position may be required to participate in restraining an offender primarily for medical reasons;


• Communicate with outside
