CDL Driver
Job Description/Responsibilities
Under supervision, operates a truck picking up steel sided flat bed or roll-off containers within specified area.
- Wait to be loaded by either Alter or customer and drive loads to customer or Alter.
- Drive semis around the yard while moving scrap material
- May operate equipment within the yard, loading or moving scrap material
- Wear all necessary PPE when working in the yard
- Follow company safety standards at all times
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. Must have Class A CDL or Class B CDL (for straight truck) license and minimum 1-3 years verifiable experience. Candidate must be able to lift a minimum of 30-50 lbs. and 100+lbs on 2-person lift. General knowledge of difference between ferrous and non-ferrous material preferred and equipment experience preferred.
Compensation details: 23-27 Hourly Wage
