CDL Driver Class A

Job Full Description
Hours: Monday - Friday,5:00am-3:00pm
Pay: $25.00 - $26.00/HR
Duties:

• Safe vehicle operation - Operate a CDL Class A commercial truck safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
• Point-to-point driving - Transport no-touch freight from point A to point B.
• Route execution - Drive to various customer locations, terminals, or distribution points as scheduled.
• Transmission operation - Confidently operate both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Cab entry and exit - Enter and exit the truck cab and trailer safely throughout the shift.
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections - Complete DOT-required inspections and report mechanical issues.
• Compliance and documentation - Maintain accurate logs and follow all DOT and company safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A license - Must hold an active CDL-A.
• 2+ years of experience - Minimum two years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Manual transmission endorsement - Must be able to drive both manual and automatic trucks.
• Physical mobility - Ability to climb in and out of the truck without assistance.
• Clean driving record - Strong safety history with no major violations.
• DOT medical certification - Must hold or be able to obtain a valid DOT medical card.
• Professionalism and reliability - Strong work ethic, punctuality, and communication skills.
