Job Details
We're helping our client, a readymix concrete operation in Central Square, NY, find experienced CDL B drivers for direct hire. This is a home daily position paying $32-$40/hr depending on experience, with routes staying within 1 hour of the plant in the Syracuse area.
Pay
* $32.00 - $40.00/hr depending on experience
* Weekly pay
Schedule
* Monday through Friday, occasional Saturday (once or twice a year)
* Typical start time 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM, may vary based on business demand
* 8-10 hours per day
* Home daily
What You'll Be Doing
* Hauling readymix concrete within 1 hour of the base plant in the Syracuse, NY area
* Occasionally working from other plants within the Syracuse network
* Verifying material is properly mixed with correct slump before leaving the plant
* Operating front discharge and rear discharge readymix concrete trucks
What You Need
* Valid CDL B
* Readymix concrete experience preferred — other experienced truck drivers will be considered and trained
* Manual transmission experience preferred
* Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
* Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
* Must be at least 21 years old
