Job Opportunity
We are seeking experienced and reliable CDL Class B Drivers or Chauffeur Licensed Drivers for direct hire positions with a trusted local moving company.
Location: Romulus, MI
Pay: Starting at $19-21/hr
Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle (Class A or B) in compliance with DOT regulations
- Transport goods and materials to and from designated locations on local or regional routes
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service
- Load and unload cargo as required (varies by assignment)
- Accurately complete and maintain logs, delivery paperwork, and route documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Adhere to company policies and all applicable traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and represent the company in a positive manner
Job Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class B license
- Clean driving record
- At least 1 year of recent driving experience (preferred)
- Dependable and safety-focused
