About the Position
TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local yard and shuttle operations for our client in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania. This on-site position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule
* Pay: $29.50 per hour
* Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
* Hours: 10:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.
* Hours per week: 40
* Employment type: Temp to perm
* Work setting: On-site
Job Details
* Route type: Local delivery; primarily yard jockey work with occasional local shuttle runs
* Freight: Shuttling trailers
* Equipment: Day cab and yard truck
* Handling: Yard jockey and shuttle operations
* Touch freight: No touch
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes and within the yard
* Shuttle trailers in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
* Perform required yard jockey and shuttle handling tasks
* Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
* Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
* Meet the physical demands of the role
Minimum Requirements
* Valid CDL A license
* 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
* No endorsements required
* Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
* Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
