Architectural Woods, a distributor of hardwood lumber and lumber products located in Vancouver, Washington, is looking for a conscientious CDL Truck driver dedicated to delivering orders efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
CDL Truck Driver Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid CDL, Class A license with a clean driving record
  • Must have a current Medical Examiner's Certificate
  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and pass random drug and alcohol testing per DOT requirements
  • Able to drive manual transmission
  • Be proficient at driving, maneuvering, and parking large vehicles
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Be dependable, hardworking and an effective communicator
  • Basic math skills
  • Flexibility, ability to work early shift (5AM) Monday-Friday, and overtime
  • Ability to lift and move product up to 75 lbs.
  • Forklift experience a plus
CDL Truck Drivers Responsibilities:
  • Driving safely - Adhere to all traffic laws and DOT regulations, including hours-of-service requirements
  • Delivering materials to different addresses through varying routes
  • Picking up materials from vendors and suppliers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with dispatchers, customers, and team members
  • Loading and unloading products on 32' curtain trailers by hand and by forklift, securing loads
  • Vehicle pre-trip inspection, maintenance
  • Adhering to company operating policies and procedures
  • Processing accurate paperwork
  • Maintaining clean, organized work environment
  • Professional and customer-oriented attitude
  • Compensation based on experience
