About the Position
TransForce is seeking a CDL A Spotter/Driver to support local operations in Duncan, South Carolina. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $29 per hour
- Overtime: Paid after 40 hours
- Schedule: Friday through Tuesday
- Start time: 5:00 a.m.
- Shift length: 10–12 hours
Job Details
- Route type: Local
- Weekend assignment: Spotting for four hours on Saturday and four hours on Sunday
- Remaining scheduled shifts: Driving
- Equipment: CDL A equipment and yard-switching equipment
- Handling: No-touch freight
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes and in the yard
- Perform yard-switching and spotting duties
- Transport equipment in accordance with DOT and safety standards
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
- Meet the physical demands of the role
Minimum Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license
- 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Recent yard-switching experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
