Driver will be hauling (hazmat building materials and construction type materials) from (the Bethlehem DC) to customer sites in (NYC, NJ, PA, DE, MD).
Additional details: Dry van deliveries will be live unload. Driver will be required to strap and unstrap for flatbed and curtain side trailers. Drivers will not touch freight unless specified beforehand that a customer needs product tailgated. In that instance, freight will be brought to the tailgate with a manual pallet jack.
Home every day. Shift: Mon-Fri Start time: 02:30am-05:00am Days off: Saturday and Sunday
Position details: Hazmat required at time of schedule. Tanker endorsement is preferred. Driver will receive flatbed and curtain side trailer training. Will be required to work on average of 1 day per week on other accts. Uniforms and steel toed boots and safety vest required and provided by account. Drivers will be required to drive in NYC. Drivers average $1500-$1600+ weekly.
Requirements: 3 months class a experience with a 53 foot trailer. Clean mvr. Clean background. NO SAP. Drivers must be able to pass a hair and urine drug test and a DOT physical.
