Job Requirements
Qualifications
  • Minimum 12 months of tractor-trailer driving experience within the past five years.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Current DOT Medical Card with at least one year certification obtained at the time of issue.
  • Successful completion of a road test.
  • Meets company driving record requirements.
  • Acceptable responses from previous employment verifications.
  • Successful completion of all required background checks and pre-employment screenings.
  • Safe driving record and consistent commitment to high safety standards.
Responsibilities
  • Safely drive a commercial motor vehicle (tractor and trailer)
  • Value your safety, always comply with safety/operating policies and procedures
  • Work well independently, and in a team setting

  • Understand that delivering to our customers on-time keeps our company viable
  • Complete deliveries on schedule and interface with customers effectively
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same

  • Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner
  • Perform and document pre and post trip inspections and complete all necessary paperwork
  • All other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Maintain all DOT required licenses and documentation
  • Able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs. for touch freight positions
  • Adhere to DOT Rules and Regulations
  • Operate in a constant state of alertness, and safe manner
  • Safely get in and out of the cab on your own
  • Execute on-time pickup and deliveries
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards on and off the road
  • Interact in a positive and a professional manner with general public while delivering products to locations
  • Be a positive, team player with a commitment to deliver to our customers promise, doing Whatever It Takes!
