CDL A Driver | $27/Hr | Cleveland, TN

TransForce is seeking a CDL A  Local Route Driver to support local operations based in Cleveland, TN. 

Job Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Saturday- will have 2 consecutive days off during the week (Tue-Wed or Wed-Thurs.) - dispatched 2am-4 pm will know 24hrs in advance. Most dispatches are mid morning

• Pay: $27/hourly

• Duties: Route Driver, Driver will watch customer unload, if a pallet breaks the driver is asked to help customer. Customer service attitude. Deliveries to grocery stores within a 200 mile radius 

• Freight / Load Type: Groceries 

• Equipment: Tractor and reefer

 Minimum Requirements:  

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Strong disposition for positive customer service, strong verbal communication skills 

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) 

• Will work in all types of weather conditions

 
Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate equipment

• Communication with the public

• Completion of all paperwork, reports, and other documentation

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
