TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Carol Stream, IL. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Driver Details
- Schedule: Monday – Friday routes start between 630pm and midnight
- Pay: $29/hr
- Route Type: Local, Home Daily
- Freight / Load Type: Office supplies, paper, furniture
- Performing after hours deliveries, will have key code access
- Equipment: Automatic Transmission Class A Tractor Trailer
- Handling: Pallet Jack, Liftgate ability to lift up to 70lbs
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: Class A
- Experience: 2+ verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operated equipment on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
