CCTV / Alarm Systems Technician
Dunbar Security Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated CCTV / Alarm Systems Technician to join our private security technology division in Richmond, Virginia.

The Security Alarm Systems Technician performs installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of electronic security systems including:
- Access Control Systems
- CCTV Surveillance Systems
- Intrusion Alarm Systems
- Electronic Door Hardware
- Monitoring and Detection Devices
Essential Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, repair, and test security systems hardware and software
- Install and service CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, card readers, electronic locks, and related devices
- Diagnose and repair system malfunctions
- Test and inspect systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with standards
- Perform emergency service repairs as needed
- Install and relocate security equipment at customer sites
- Maintain accurate service and installation records
- Work with monitoring, alarm, and data circuits
- Experience installing and servicing security systems
- Knowledge of:

- CCTV Systems
- Access Control Systems
- Alarm Systems
- Valid DCJS Electronic Security Technician Registration or eligibility to obtain one
- Valid driver's license
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
