CCIE Certified Network Architect

Leading a remote team of cutover migration engineers, the contracted Network Migration Architect will oversee the overnight cut window, managing the transition from legacy Cisco and Juniper hardware to current generation platforms while ensuring timely execution and troubleshooting under pressure. Key responsibilities Serve as the Key 6 Administrator, managing credential access for cut engineers and ensuring compliance with security policies Direct the end-to-end cut window operations for a team of engineers, making critical go/no-go decisions and resolving complex issues in real time Author and validate Method of Procedures (MOPs) and cable matrices, ensuring alignment with design and operational requirements before each cut window Required qualifications Active CCIE or equivalent Juniper expert level certification (JNCIE) Architect level expertise in Cisco IOS, IOS XE, Nexus platforms, and Juniper Junos Proven experience leading a team of migration engineers through live change windows Hands-on experience with MOP authoring and cable matrix validation Demonstrated ability to guide non-network personnel through physical remediation by phone
