Responsibilities:
* Creating parametric models to automate making high volumes of similar parts
* Develop new automation/tool development for internal customers (R&D engineering)
* Help expansion of tool database in other segments of Toyota
* Existing tool maintenance and troubleshooting
* Working in a team of 3-4 and sharing thoughts & ideas collaboratively
* End user support (working with internal customers to troubleshoot and improve tools)
* Promoting awareness for new applications (training, new tool advertising, etc.)
* Website maintenance
* Support implementation of data analytics (tracking usage, time savings and flagging underutilized tools and areas for improvement)
* Weekly status reporting
* Requirements:
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience using Visual basic and/or C++
* Minimum 3 years of CATIA V5 experience
* CATIA V5 experience in the following workbenches: Part Design, Generative Shape Design, Assembly Design, Drafting, Knowledge Advisor, Knowledge Expert, DMU Space Analysis, and DMU Navigator
* Must have experience with Power copies, UDF's and templates
* Experience with CAA Rade, html, css, php, python preferred
* 3 years of programming in CATIA V5 preferred
* Ability to troubleshoot and improve parametric models in CATIA V5
* BS in software or computer science related field preferred
* Experience with CAE analysis preferred
* Understanding of AI or machine learning concepts a plus
* Experience with CATIA V6 and/or 3D experience a plus
* Must be able to communicate effectively in English
* Innovative mindset and experience problem solving
* Effective written communication using MS office tools a must
