13-Week Travel Assignment

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment supporting a fast-paced outpatient surgery center in Salt Lake City, UT. This is a great opportunity for an RN with a strong background in ophthalmology and oculofacial plastics who is looking to join an experienced surgical team.

• Location: Salt Lake City, UT
• Schedule: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• EMR: Epic
• Scrubs: Provided by the facility

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a busy outpatient surgical setting.
• Assist with ophthalmology and oculofacial plastics procedures.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
• Participate in the on-call rotation after orientation.

Call Requirements

• 1 weekday of call per week
• 1 weekend of call per month
• On-call staff assist with cases that extend beyond the scheduled day.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Required experience in Ophthalmology and Oculofacial Plastics
• Previous outpatient surgery or operating room experience strongly preferred
• Epic experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and integrate quickly into an established team

Ideal Candidate

We\'re looking for an RN who can "hit the ground running" with extensive ophthalmology and oculofacial plastics experience. Candidates with additional experience in breast reconstruction, podiatry, urology, or GYN procedures are a plus.
