Cath Lab Nurse
Level I trauma experience required. No travel teams with Cath Lab RNs. Unit: Cath Lab. Beds: 3 main and 1 is EP & 1 is Hybrid (does both vascular & cardiac cases). Certifications: BLS, must also be certified, if tech, they must have ARRT that can scrub! Must have AZ license MRTBE CRT. Cases: 10-25 cases per day. EMR: Cerner and Xper. Charge Nurse: Yes. Nurse Aides: Rad techs. Circulating and scrub, BLS, certified. Must have 2 years Cath Lab experience. Cover Endo and CVOR. Weekend requirement: Call - 8-12 days per month. Holidays: Work into rotation. Scrub color: Provided. Tele: Phillips. Vents: NA. IV team: No. RT 24/7: Yes. Pharmacy 24/7: Yes. Shifts: per job posting. Call: 8-12 days per month. Floor specific orientation: 2 days on job. Common diagnosis/types of patients: Interventional, EP lab, peripherals, EP - cardiology and vascular, mitro clip, TAVR, IABP and Emtala placement. Additional notes: 30 minute response time. Use Phillips and Siemens equipment.
