Schedule: 13 Weeks (Possible Extensions)
Responsibilities
- Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI (STEMI), and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology procedures, etc.
- Able to monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data
- Provide procedural assistance to the physician, pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
- Assess and manage the access site and inform the physician.
- Adhere to On call protocol for the Cath lab
- Prepare the patient for procedures
Required Certifications & Licensure
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist
- RCIS certification preferred
- BLS, ACLS & IABP experience required
- Cardiac Cath lab experience required
Required Education
High School Diploma or GED required
