Schedule: Full time, Days
Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety.
- Formulate individualized plan of care; revise as indicated; evaluate overall plan daily for effectiveness.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, provider, patient, and family following chain of command.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Act as advocate for physical and emotional well‑being of the patient, protecting patient’s rights.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- ARRT registered in North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS certification within six months of hire.
- One year of experience preferred.
