Cardiac Catheterization Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

8-hour shifts with 1-hour lunch, totaling 35 guaranteed hours per week. Rotating on-call requirements for weekends and holidays may be necessary.

As a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist, you will perform imaging procedures and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions in a cardiology unit. You will be working within a team to provide high-quality patient care during cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures.

• Conduct imaging procedures in a Cardiac Catheterization Suite.
• Assist in the administration of contrast media and monitoring of patient safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff in delivering patient care.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Document procedures and patient interactions accurately.

• New York State License as an X-ray Technologist.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification or American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Registered.
• BLS and ACLS Certification (American Heart Association).
• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Technologist or X-ray Technologist, with at least one (1) year in an Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Suite.
