Job Description
The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for assisting in various diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab. The role requires collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and safety during catheterizations, PCI, peripheral procedures, and device implants like pacemakers and defibrillators.
Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiac catheterizations, PCI, and peripheral procedures.
- Support in the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a sterile environment.
- Monitor patient vitals and assist in patient recovery.
- Participate in on-call coverage as needed (10-12 days per month).
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
- RCIS certification is preferred.
- Experience in a Cath Lab setting is highly desirable.
