Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician II to join a dynamic cardiac catheterization laboratory team in San Marcos, TX. Key Responsibilities of the Cath Lab Technician II

• Ensure major equipment is operational and document quality control
• Participate in daily room checks and stocking of supplies
• Access daily patient schedule and handle patient information
• Set up cath lab equipment and operate various devices
• Support the physician and ensure patient safety during procedures
• Adhere to aseptic technique and organizational policies on patient safety
• Serve as preceptor for Technicians and Technologists I

Requirements of the Cath Lab Technician II

• Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology or a related field preferred
• 2 years of experience in Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology, or Cath/EP Lab
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA only)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA only)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification for pediatric facilities (AHA only)
• One of the following certifications: RCIS, RCES, RCS, ARRT, RDMS, RDCS, RVT
