Wellstar Health System is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse to deliver specialized, patient-centered care for cardiac and vascular procedures. The RN will coordinate and provide nursing care before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional cases, including patient assessment, monitoring, moderate sedation, and post-procedure recovery.
Responsibilities include collaborating with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams, circulating and scrubbing as needed, maintaining sterile technique, managing medications and infusions, documenting in the EMR, educating patients and families, and supporting quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced cath lab environment.
