Ambrosia Foods is a Chicago catering company producing corporate events, private events, & weddings across the city. We’re hiring catering servers for the remainder of 2026, and looking to build out our FOH teams for 2027.
When you’re on one of our events, you represent Ambrosia Foods. Although Food is of the utmost importance to us, the quality of service must always match. We need servers who arrive on time, present themselves professionally, and deliver the same level of quality our kitchen puts on the plate.
What we expect
- Banquet, catering, or fine-dining service experience
- Punctuality, every single shift.
- Professional appearance and conduct from load-in to breakdown
- Attentive, polished service: passed apps, buffet and station service, plated dinners, bar support
- Ability to take direction from event leads and adapt quickly on site
- Comfort on your feet for long shifts, lifting and carrying event equipment
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holiday-season events
- BASSET Certification
- Servsafe Certification
About the role
This is a seasonal position, but we’re building a long-term roster of servers we can count on. People who show up with a hospitality-first mindset (taking care of guests, supporting the team, and owning the details) will always get first call for future events.
