An established, upscale senior living community in the Williamsburg, Virginia area is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Catering Manager / Coordinator to support catering, private dining, and special event operations.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced event professional who enjoys the creativity of planning combined with the satisfaction of flawless execution.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute catered events, private functions, and special celebrations.
Serve as a primary point of contact for event planning and coordination.
Work closely with culinary and dining leadership to develop menus and service plans.
Coordinate event logistics, staffing, room setup, timelines, and presentation.
Ensure events are executed professionally and within established budgets.
Maintain detailed event records, schedules, and communication.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, internal departments, and event participants.
Identify opportunities to enhance catering services and event experiences.
Maintain exceptional standards of hospitality, organization, and attention to detail.

Ideal Qualifications
Experience in catering, event coordination, banquet operations, or hospitality management.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Experience coordinating food and beverage events.
Ability to manage multiple events and changing priorities.
Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
Senior living, hotel, country club, restaurant, or event venue experience preferred.
Professional, personable, and service-oriented approach.
