We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. You will play a crucial part in maintaining customer satisfaction through excellent service and efficient route management.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a delivery vehicle, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles
Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies
Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization
Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks
Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
Skills
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role is preferred
Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes
Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of products safely
Experience driving commercial vehicles, particularly box trucks
Proficient in route driving with knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns
Capability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential
