To support manufacturing operations, the full-time Category Buyer will manage direct material purchasing activities, collaborate with the Commodity Team, and develop supplier relationships while working in a hybrid schedule in Springfield, TN. Key responsibilities Drive direct material purchasing for assigned components and ensure collaboration with the Commodity Team Analyze supplier quality, delivery, and cost metrics to identify improvement opportunities Coordinate new suppliers and engineering changes with cross-functional teams Required qualifications BS Degree in Business or Engineering preferred Minimum 2 years of progressive responsibility in a business function Relevant experience in purchasing, supply chain, or quality management Proven track record in effective purchasing management in a manufacturing environment Basic knowledge of engineering drawings of component parts preferred
