Cashier

Bark Barbecue is opening a second 8,700 sq. ft. flagship destination in the heart of North Brooklyn (East Williamsburg/Bushwick) and is seeking hospitality professionals to join our opening team.

This is an opportunity to be part of an industry-leading buildout from the ground up, helping shape the systems, culture, and standards of a high-volume restaurant focused on exceptional barbecue, hospitality, and craftsmanship.

Position: Cashier

Cashiers play a critical role in creating a welcoming first impression for guests, providing exceptional hospitality while accurately processing orders and helping guide guests through the Bark experience.

Ideal Candidates

• Previous cashier, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred
• Friendly, professional, and hospitality-driven
• Warm, engaging, and committed to creating memorable guest experiences
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable and punctual
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Ability to confidently explain menu items and answer guest questions
• Additional language skills, including Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese, are a plus but not required
