Job Title: Cash Applications Specialist
Location: Addison, IL
On-Site: 5 Days a week onsite, Monday-Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay Range: $25-28/hour
Role Overview: Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in the search for a Cash Applications Specialist. Our client located in Addison, IL is looking for a Cash Applications Specialist to join their team on a Contract-to-Hire basis. Our client is seeking an individual with experience in cash applications, large-dollar payments, and is ambitious and detail oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process daily cash receipts, including high-dollar payments and credit card transactions
- Review and post payments with a high level of detail and accuracy
- Research and resolve discrepancies, including short payments, tax adjustments, and other account deductions
- Manage high-volume payment posting while maintaining accurate records
- Work independently while handling daily cash application responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Prior cash applications or payment posting experience preferred
- Experience with manual processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working independently in a quiet, focused office environment
- Ambitious, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn
