They will also be responsible for keeping up to date on daily deposits by not being more than two days behind on average for posting daily deposits.Duties/Responsibilities:Reconcile and research outstanding cash, 835, 3rd party posting, 3rd party aging, and private payBalance bulk payments from all payor classes to patient accounts and 3rd partiesRun credit card transactions processRun reports for posting and reconciling payments and credit card chargesReconcile zero balance EOB's - When insurance companies recoup/pay in bulk and no payment is receivedNote patient accounts when neededFollow all applicable government regulations including HIPAAComply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress codeReview end of month aging to ensure cash posting accuracyAnswer telephone calls to take payments from customersOther duties as assigned by Department ManagerQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
