With over 200 employees spread across fifteen states and four countries, we're dedicated to enhancing training experiences every day, everywhere.The Common Architecture for Secure Environments-Virtualized (CASE-V) Systems Engineer will support the development and support of currently fielded CASE-V systems. These systems currently support the following, but are not limited to the US Navy, US Air Force Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS), Ground Tactical Air Control Reporting Center (CRC), and the US Marine Corps ground systems and networks, to include operational integration test and validation of modeling & simulation (M&S)/mission system applications.
Work in cross-functional teams to improve software and systems integration/development efficiencies across the PLEXSYS Ecosystem. Explore and provide integration strategies for third-party and partner solutions. Provide system hardware and software troubleshooting and reach back support to on-site personnel and coordinate with organizations as necessary.
Assist with CASE-V baseline configuration management, perform analysis to determine system viability and accuracy, and assist System Architect with required system architecture/framework changes. Assist in the development of the CASE-V road map by exploring, researching, and testing new and emerging technologies and methods. Document findings using standardized methodologies.Duties and ResponsibilitiesBuild CASE-V solutions as defined by the System Architect or assigned personRespond as required to customer requests for CASE-V related issuesPerform pre-delivery validation of the CASE-V systems to include system administration, cybersecurity, and M&S applications and frameworkDeliver to/assist customers with CASE-V operational integration testing as requiredProvide training to end customers and internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as required to support system operation, troubleshooting techniques, and maintenancePerform fault isolation, repair, part replacement and checkout procedures during and after delivery as requiredAssist Configuration Manager with maintenance task preparations, selection of spare parts, support equipment, tools, and technical dataSupport practical test activities and schedules to include providing advice on equipment operation and maintenanceSupport customers as required with maintenance in accordance with authorized proceduresConduct and support the customer during acceptance testingPerform field level modifications to systems as requiredPerform hardware maintenance in accordance with authorized proceduresConnect/disconnect components for testing and inspectionTrack trends and note product improvement initiativesCoordinate for CASE-V Product Team reach back support for software/hardwareProvide comments on suggested customer changes to documented technical manual proceduresAssist with and/or develop operating procedures and manuals for the CASE-V solutionPerforms other duties, as assignedRequirementsBachelor's degree in a technical area, computer systems, or related high-technology fieldAbility to communicate with internal and external customers effectively both oral and writtenFour (4) plus years of related experienceExperience in administering computer servers in a multi-domain environmentExperience working with and configuring systems to meet Risk Management Framework (RMF) complianceExperience with virtualization and hyperconverged infrastructuresExperience with Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Linux operating systems and Microsoft OfficeCurrent DoD 8570 IAT Level II and IAM Level I or higher certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification)Must have or be able to obtain/maintain a Top-Secret clearance and approval for Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI)PerksAs a PLEXSYS employee, you can expect certain advantages; such as advancement based on performance, competitive wages, valuable benefits and a great working environment.
