Remote Contract General

Case UnderwriterThis role supports pricing and underwriting and ensuring timely and accurate RFP responses. The position involves collaborating with various teams to refine financial models and reporting, presenting final underwriting to leadership, and driving continuous improvement in pricing and underwriting practices.Position Responsibilities:Direct and execute day-to-day pricing and underwriting for new and renewing business opportunitiesCoordinate with Sales, RFP response, and other business functions to submit timely and complete RFP responsesCollaborate with Executive Team and other business functions to design, refine, and maintain internal underwriting, financial modeling, and financial reporting SOPsSupport client contracting, including validation that contract terms align with proposal underwriting parametersPresent final underwriting to Sales and Executive Team and be able to articulate any potential riskSupport continued development and maintenance of underwriting and financial reporting system infrastructureMine external data to determine best underwriting practices for each business opportunityManage multiple projects and deadlines as neededWork collaboratively across the organization to communicate and support ongoing financial analytics and reporting needsSupport analysis and development of pricing models for new productsSupport general business needs, as requiredResponsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncomplianceRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, with record of strong academic performance in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Economics (In lieu of a degree, equivalent relevant work experience may be considered)2+ years of proven experience in financial analysis, actuarial services, accounting, pricing & underwritingPharmacy, PBM, or Health Plan experience requiredKnowledge of risk management, statistics, financial modelingExperience manipulating large data sets, including the ability to analyze and interpret historical claims dataProficient in Excel and data visualization toolsExperience in either SQL, SAS, or R preferredTrack record of leading cross-functional initiatives, driving high performance, meeting deadlines, and executing on deliverablesAbility to balance multiple complex projects simultaneouslyExceptional technical, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsExtremely flexible, highly organized, and able to shift priorities easilyAttention to detail & commitment to delivering high quality work productNew York, NY Salary Range$80,000 - $100,000 USDAll employees are responsible for adherence to the Judi Health Code of Conduct including the reporting of non-compliance.
