RN Case Manager
The RN Case Manager will facilitate the interdisciplinary plan of care with a focus on evaluating the appropriateness of clinical care, medical necessity, admission status, level of care, and resource management. The RN Case Manager will coordinate activities that promote quality outcomes and patient throughput while supporting a balance of optimal care and appropriate resource utilization. The RN Case Manager will identify potential barriers to patient throughput and quality outcomes and will facilitate appropriate discharge plans.
What Qualifications You Will Need:
Associates or diploma in nursing required; BSN preferred
Florida RN license required; or appropriate compact
BCLS–AHA Healthcare Provider certification required within 30 days of employment start date
National Case Management Certification (CCM or ACM) preferred
Interqual competence required, certification preferred
Required Experience :
Prior hospital case management experience preferred.
All candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of acute care hospital direct patient care nursing experience in order to be considered.
Pay Range: Non-exempt (hourly) 3yr: $35.14, 7yr: $38.33, 10yr: $39.93, Max: $43.92 (based on years of experience)
Shift Differentials: $2.00/Evenings; $4.25/Nights (To be eligible for evening/night diff’s, must work 4 hours into the shift. Example: evening is 3p-11p, so one would need to work past 7pm in order to get evening diff.
